While they're very good for eating fresh, the fruits are favorites for canning, baking into pies and desserts and making into jams and preserves. The self-pollinating trees exhibit excellent disease resistance. Require 850 chill hours. Fruits ripen in August. 800 chill hours are required for a successful harvest.
